Using the CA Performance Center, DX Performance Management 3.X provides a central user interface for performance management that combines a variety of time series metrics into problem and technology specific dashboards. The basic package monitors infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and data flow sizes using its own data collectors for SNMP and non-SNMP information. For long-term analysis, this data is stored in a dedicated, highly scalable database.
Innovative displays, tables, charts and calendar views eliminate the need to perform time-consuming searches in widely distributed sources to correlate data. By intuitively placing metrics on their dashboards, the solution helps set up root cause analysis workflows based on technical best practices.
Designed specifically for very large IT environments, DX Performance Management 3.X is capable of monitoring, storing and analyzing millions of performance data at very high speeds. Performance can be scaled linearly by adding additional computing capacity.
The mandate capability of DX Performance Management 3.X enables IT departments and technical staff at managed service providers and enterprises to demarcate monitoring systems for each customer, department or location and still administer all clients via a central user interface. The linear scalability of DX Performance Management 3.X enables massive parallel processing of data. If CPU power is added, the performance of the system increases in a ratio of 1:1. The multi-threaded function in the collector also avoids bottlenecks in data collection.
The storage capacity of the database can be scaled to hundreds of terabytes of data. The centralized cluster architecture also ensures that report requests do not compromise polling performance.

Combined display/table display eliminates the minutes of flipping back and forth required by other solutions. This made it almost impossible to correlate data and make decisions.
DX Performance Management 3.X's new “Calendar Heat Chart” display allows you to define performance patterns for many metrics. This prevents attempts to correlate information that would otherwise be scattered across many different charts, reports and web pages.

DX Performance Management 3.X includes a user-friendly self-certification mechanism. This represents a completely new concept of family (normalization) and manufacturer (manufacturer) measurand certification.
